Joe Cadwell is the writer, producer and host of Grit Nation - The Building Trades Podcast.

After working for over 20 years as a unionized hard hat diver, Joe has begun a new career as an apprentice coordinator and instructor for the Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute, a regional training center for the UBC.  

His understanding and appreciation for those who do the hard, dirty and sometimes dangerous work of construction is apparent in his bi-monthly podcast. 

Through interviews with building trades professionals, authors, and industry leaders, Joe digs deep to uncover the truth about the often under-appreciated and misunderstood blue-collar trades and the people that make up the backbone of the working middle class.
